More than 1,000 women farmers in Upper East appeal for financial support from MASLOC

About 1,376 rural women representing 43 rural women groups and constituting farmers, producers and processors in the Upper East are appealing to government to help them have easy access to loans from the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre, MASLOC.

The women groups from 26 communities explained that if MASLOC properly targets rural women there is bound to be improved agricultural production, processing and packaging of food and subsequent boosting of food security in Ghana.
