GARDJA Prez attends international fellowship in US

Richmond Frimpong, President of the Ghana Agricultural and Rural Development Journalists Association (GARDJA), will this month enplane to the United States to participate in the‘2019 Cornell Alliance for Science Global Leadership Fellows Programme.

The three-month educative programme will be held at the Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, from August 26 through November 15, 2019.

In all, about 34 Fellows, representing 15 countries, will take part in the programme.

“Congratulations, on behalf of the Cornell Alliance for Science and the Department of International Programs in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University, I am pleased to invite you to participate in the 2019 Cornell Alliance for Science and Global Leadership Fellows Program, to be held at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York from August 26 through November 15, 2019”, an invitation letter to the GARDJA President read. .

Richmond Frimpong has been practicing journalism for the past 12 years and has specialized in reporting on agricultural and environmental issues.

He is currently the Deputy News Editor and Executive Producer for Promise Broadcasting Limited(oyerepa 100.7 Fm)in Kumasi. He previously worked with Kumasi-based Fox FM, where he also excelled.
