HortiFresh holds exhibitors meeting prior to the fruit and vegetable fair

 

HortiFresh in a roundtable discussion told Exhibitors of the maiden Fruit and Vegetable Fair to attractively exhibit their products during the fair which commence on July 2-5, 2019. The meeting which took place at the Tomreik Hotel in Accra hosted about 52 Exhibitors from different fruit and vegetable value chain.

At the meeting, the communication and Outreach Advisor for HortiFresh, Miss Patricia Asamoah welcomed exhibitors and commended them for their patronage.

She said that the HortiFresh is well prepared for this year’s event and is optimistic that with the help of Exhibitors the program will achieve the desired success.

She expressed the need for more companies within the fruit and vegetable value chain to take advantage and be a part of this year’s fair.

Addressing the Exhibitors at the meeting, the Communication and Outreach Advisor of HortiFresh, Miss Patricia Asamoah, assured participants of having enough space to showcase their products.

According to her, the fair would start on 2nd July, 2019 with an Official Opening ceremony slated for 2 pm. She encouraged all Exhibitors to ready their stand by 10 am to enable enough time to interact with the media.

She emphasised the need for enough publicity for the program and encouraged Exhibitors to share the program outline with their network to ensure massive public turn out.

“As part of publicity for the program, we will ensure we advertise on most media channels to drive traffic to the fair”.

The Program Manager of HortiFresh, Mrs Sheila Assibey-Yeboah, concluded that this year’s fair would end with an Award Ceremony where certain companies that have exhibited some level of innovation and branding would be recognised.

She further encouraged all the exhibitors to put up their best to make this event a success.

The Fruit and Vegetable Fair is an annual event that provides a platform for the horticulture sector actors to exhibit their products and services.

This will help create market opportunities for these businesses and establish new business opportunities for stakeholders.

The fair also seeks to generate partnership and increase HortiFresh’s network base through visitors willing to engage in Horticulture activities as well as provide information about HortiFresh’s opportunities.
