Drivers and commuters who ply the road linking Kumasi Kronum Abuohia to Ohwim Barekese main road have bemoaned the deplorable nature of the road.
According to them, what started as potholes have now become man-holes making the road almost unmotorable.
Though the road was awarded on contract in 2008 by the erstwhile Kufour administration, work has not been completed.
The unset of the rains has worsen the problem.
Reports indicate that commercial drivers refuse to ply the road anytime it rains.
A driver who plies the road on daily basis, Jewel Assan Gyasi told Fox that half of a bridge on the said road have caved in posing threat to the lives of users of the road.
He described the situation as a death trap.
He disclosed that, hardly a week passes without a vehicle tumbling into the bridge.
He is therefore appealing to the powers that be to, as a matter of urgency, compel the contractor working on the road to move to site.
