US pledges $38 million to support Ghana’s Agricultural sector

The United States Ambassador to Ghana, Robert Jackson, says the US will provide 38 million dollars to support Ghana’s Agricultural sector to promote the production of Cashew, Cocoa and Cereals.

He said a further 70 million dollars is being invested in the Health Sector while 75 million dollars is set aside each year for the education sector for the next few years.

He was touching on American support for Ghana when he paid a courtesy call on the Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister in Sunyani.

On the second day of a three day working visit to the Bono- Ahafo Region, Ambassador Jackson was also in the Techiman Municipality where he visited some institutions that have received support from the US government.
